It's a dog day at Larkhill
The Avon Vale races has added a dog agility show to its racing fixture on Saturday March 28 to broaden its appeal. Building on the success of fun dog shows previously, the raceday will now feature six or more classes of dog agility.
"In recent research, we discovered that 60% of those that come racing already own a dog," reported Peter McNeile, for the Avon Vale Races. "It makes perfect sense to add a dog show, which brings additional visitors with a rural bias, and add a great spectacle for attendees."
Dog owners need to enter in advance for the show, which is run under Kennel Club rules.
