It's doggy delight at the races this Easter

If you’ve a dog, then there’s no better place to be this Easter Saturday when the Avon Vale Races stages a fun dog show alongside the seven steeplechases.

One of the premier Point-to-Point meetings in Wiltshire, the Avon Vale stages a terrific day’s racing with lots of other entertainment to keep the whole family amused on Saturday March 31st. And there are few better places to bring a dog than to the great expanse of Larkhill Racecourse on Salisbury Plain.

With six classes from Cutest Puppy to Most Handsome Dog, there’s a class for almost every type of dog, with prizes and rosettes for winners from local businesses. Gates open at 11am with classes in between each of the scheduled steeplechases. So whether you’re a working Labrador or a pampered pooch, a day at the races is just as much for dogs as for humans.
